Pocket Doors!

Uncovering the Historic Elements at 347 Massachusetts Ave.

Jason and I are in the process of rehabbing a three bedroom unit at 347 Massachusetts Avenue. We are going to a post about the entire process once it is done… however, I wanted to take a minute to show you some of the cool things we have uncovered during the rehab. It has been one hell of a ride with this unit – we have spent an enormous amount of time and money evicting the tenants..( Evicting tenants is not fun or cheap.. we will do a post on that process later!)… so this rehab is very exciting and long overdue. From exposing a brick fireplace, finding cool tile, uncovering hardwood floors, finding pocket doors that work.. and finding crown moulding in the Kitchen.. this once run down, grimey apartment has become one of our most favorite projects ever.

Look for the rehab post soon – we anticipate it being done in the next few weeks. Lastly, this would never have happened without the time and energy from our amazing friends – Derek King, Lynette Villagomez, Mike Puma, Mark Paradowski and Zee’s Property Management Services. Thanks everyone!!
