Bernice Radle works to blend historic preservation and energy efficiency together each and every day. Her professional “claim to fame” experience was managing the largest energy efficiency retrofit in the City of Buffalo – 16 historic multifamily buildings from 2007 – 2011. Since 2011, Bernice has worked as a sales, marketing and project management at Buffalo Energy where they have overseen over 150 energy efficiency projects statewide, impacting 24,000 people. In 2012, Bernice formed Buffalove Development (with the help of former partner, Jason Wilson), which focuses on buying and renovating vacant or underutilized historic properties in Buffalo NY. In 2014, Bernice and Jason teamed up once again to film American Rehab Buffalo, a historic home renovation television series for the DIY Network set to air in Summer 2015. In 2015, Buffalove Development became entirely owned and operated by Bernice Radle.
Outside of work, Bernice is a key leader in Buffalo’s Young Preservationists with her focus being Heart Bombs, SAVE TRICO and the Vacancy Vortex.
